I finally got some free time on my hands so here it is, my newest digital art. Feel free to comment or criticize as that will only help me evolve my skills further. :D

The story behind the picture is quite simple: An asteroid swarm is on collision course with our blue gas planet.

Edit: Re sized the moon, changed the layout of the title and slightly changed the colour.

Edit 2: Corrected a misspelling in the description. Regarding further updates on the picture; guys, I had to do a complete revamp to my system, and unfortunately I didn't manage to get any backup of this picture, which more or less means that there will be no further updates on this beauty :(

Good work!
I like how you have clumped the alot of the stars in the background together, i don't quite know why but I think it looks looks far more realistic then if there was just many spaced over the entire background.
Also, I think that the poles of the planet are somewhat bare, that there needs some more texture there.
Overall great job!

Looks good, my only crit would be that the rings should be running in the same direction as the bands of clouds. The planet seems to have it's north pole tilted back a bit, while the position of the rings suggest they are leaning top-end towards the viewpoint.

Just my :twocents: many do this anyway :p
